The Club House

The Club House is a Limerick bar with 3 distinct sets of customers. The business lunch trade, near-by office workers after work and the late-night student trade. We built the concept around the idea of a club house that took influence from working-mens clubs, gentlemens clubs and youth clubs. So there’s a balance between playful and traditional, cheap and expensive and this formed the basis for everything we designed and specified from the logo (a traditional shield with arms) to the interior (traditional dark woods with a bright yellow stripe).

The recognisable logo shape allowed us to create a flexible system creating multiple versions using patterns and the TCH initials

The identity we developed was applied in the most unexpected of places

The yellow stripe ran throughout the bar lifting the scheme from being overly traditional

Beer mats were strongly branded with easy to play board games printed on the reverse
