EBS are all about 2 things – Family and Value. They wanted to open a children’s account that showed that they value every member of the family, not just the ones with mortgages. We took this on-board and created a campaign and educational giftpack that would talk to and mean something to the children rather than their parents. To help instill the notion of value, every item in the giftpack turned into something else. Even the packaging turned into a robot or a horse. We also helped them develop a series of books that offer financial advice to their customers. While our initial brief had been to design a pamphlet about renovating a property we reasoned that a book has a shelf-life and therefore has value. The initial book was so succesful that we worked on two more books in the series.
