The Irish Architecture Foundation came to us to redesign their website which we had previously designed. Over the past few years the purpose of the website crystalized and they felt a revised design and a minor restructuring would help clarify the sites purpose. It was clear there was a need to separate IAF’s initiates like Open House Dublin and Architecture Tours from general architecture related news that they reported. We devised a clearer separation between activities and news and this formed the basis for the redesign. We chose to remove a lot of the content on the previous site in favour of clarity. Another key factor in the redesign was to give the site a more contemporary visual language which complemented the content. To achieve this we made simple typographic layouts and designed icons which formed part of the navigation. Visit site.
